EWS long time hire in, 90036, draws into Ipswich with a mainline set. The loco is unique, in that it still wears a near complete version of the RfD livery that was never put on other locos.

The recent rolling stock cascade that came with the massive franchise change late last year has seen some otherwise unfamiliar liverys in the reigon. This example is 158866, still wearing a near complete 'Alphaline' livery of its former employ... The train is working a East Midlands Trains Nottingham - Norwich service

Another livery that will soon become a thing of the past is that of London Eastern - or more commonly, 'one'. This is 170206 arriving at Ipswich with a service bound for Liverpool St. Many of the other classes of DMU operated by 'one' have started de-branding, in anticipation for the new 'National Express East Anglia' guise to take effect at the end of this month!

Cotswold Advenza's 47375 approaches 'my' crossing at Mellis, just south of Diss on the GEML. The loco has been at Norwich Crown Point for the last few weeks for maintenance including an oil change, and is seen here heading back to 'base' at Gloucester as 0Z80, running about 65 down at this point....
