It is now not uncommon to see East Midlands Trains Class 156 units on services to the Midlands from Norwich. This recently re-painted example is 156405, and is seen awaiting it's crewe at Norwich on 2nd September.

EWS 60077 accelerates through Ely station at the helm of 6M29, the 14:45 Harlow Mill - Mountsorrel service. The train, which is formed of MEA box wagons, only made it as far as Peterborough Yard on this occasion. It is about 30 minutes early passing the camera here.

A myraid of liveries can still be seen around the former WA area. Here, 317651 is seen awaiting the road from Cambridge still sporting it's dated West Anglia Great Northern livery from the mid 90s.

First Capital Connect have been applying their attractive 'neon bars' livery to their fleet of 317s working on Kings Cross - Cambridge and Peterborough services. Only a handful of the units currently carry the scheme, and 317140 stands at Cambridge on 2nd September about to leave with 1C72, the 1715 service to Kings Cross.

Recently released into traffic in the new National Express East Anglia silver and white moquette, Class 90 No. 90015 is seen waiting to depart from Norwich under heavy skies with 1P61, the 1900 service to London. The loco was recently named 'Colchester Castle' in a ceremony at Colchester station, with the plates formerly carried by Class 86 No. 86242.
